Each day, every one of us goes into a form of hypnotic trance. Each time we daydream, or drive, or fall into the pages of a really good book - or do anything without being contiously aware - then we are in a form of self induced hypnotic trance. Hypnosis is a natural state – and the ability to go into a hypnotic trance is a normal part of human behaviour. A good way to think about the process of hypnosis is to think of being in a state of deep relaxation and focus.
